We haven't had a dry spell of this duration in the Mid South since 2017. However , the lightning and thunder is getting closer and its supposed to rain and storm most of the night ! I love storms. I have no fear of tornados either. Storm on..!

It has been an unseasonably nice fall so far. You would think that would mean I have everything completely winterized. But if we didn't leave some things for the last minute what fun would that be?

We are having pleasant weather here as well.

Finally, after almost 7 weeks without rain, it finally happened. We have rain.
But the wildlife has suffered to the point that deer season might be a little slim. They have what's called blue tongue which means they have almost become dehydrated and sickly.
All we've seen around here still have spots, young ones. The adults have figuratively disappeared. There are still a lot of them out there, but this year it'll be sparse pickings.
