It has been raining here for a week.

On going flooding; Evacuations ongoing in Old Fort I-40 closed at 67 m/m due to mudslide LAKE TAHOMA DAM ALARM has sounded evacuating all downstream residents.

This has been going on for a while now in McDowell County NC

storm hit at 1:30 pm. Been without power since. No idea when it will be back on. Glad I got two generators and plenty of gas. I'll be up most of the night to make sure everything stays up and running.

finally got power back on after 30 hours. At least I was prepared for it, minus the sleep, of course.
Seven thousand without power across the southern most region of Indiana. Doesn't sound like much, but when you consider most of it is rural, that's a bunch.
Eight counties were hit............

We are getting scattered thunder storms in the afternoons. It is hotter and more humid than normal for this time of year.
