Of course they're going to say "it doesn't matter" after losing. ;-)

Naturally the alt left/illiberals aren't considered any go to source nor do they have any credibility.
Dude, Trump will always pull the masses of Birthers, Baggers & Blowhards out from under their rocks.

But he can't win with 35% of the vote and it is obvious from yesterday (even if there's a recount and Lamb loses by a couple hundred votes) that his record on endorsing candidates is miserable at best.

Conor Lamb, citing need for new leadership, will not support Nancy Pelosi as Democratic leader

Unlike the tolerance the repubs smartly show for the Rand Paul's , Donald Trumps and Tea Party types the DNC will punish stray dems. They've even done so with Kristen Gilibrand when she got too pro gun

Most of the Indies and even Progs in this forum are gun owners who support the 2nd Amendment .. but most of us support universal checks and certain age and perhaps waiting period requirements.

Most of us also want guns removed from anyone convicted of domestic violence (for a year or two) or as obvious a danger as the Parkland kid was.

Personally, I don't fear Uncle Sam going door to door confiscating 300 million guns and am NOT a supporter of the NRA.

Mr. All About Me. That wasn't a post speaking to you. You may indeed be pro 2nd amendment. You may have spoken out. The Democrat Party....does not. And I just mentioned a perfect example, this latest school shooting is about guns, gun control, and the NRA. There will be a March on Washington here in the next couple of weeks....and we see the Organizers, the Lecturers. It's a Leftist dog and pony show.

Let me give you an all in one analogy, Standing Wolf. I happen to think our media shapes much of this behavior today, it might be a stretch....but I attended a school where student would often bring their rifles in their cars onto school grounds. I went out to the parking lot and looked at a new hunting rifle, our Shop Teacher banging on us, "you hoodlums need to take that off property or rack it in your trucks, and don't be late for class."

I give you the movie and game industries and the media that promotes it all. Here we have an industry that is adored by the Left....but underpays and abuses women. Who promote and advise weapons on the red carpet, dogs to look for explosives, armed personal guards.....but are horrified by the thought of a teacher having the same. And look Wolf....who makes the most money in Hollywood....it is men who are using assault weapons to wipe everyone out. Are they not? The Mark Wahlbergs. The Rock, the Ironman dude. Seen the Shooter movie by Wahlberg? I once saw a count of how many people the Outlaw Josey Wales kills in that movie. Clint Eastwood is a bad ass and mows through men. The Wahlberg Dude in this movie.....he's using a big ass assault rifle at one point, his little tulip FBI assistant has the same....scope.....auto rifle....and is mowing through enemies like Ransom through Speckled Trout reeds. Slayin em.

I asked my significant other the other day how this Grey Shade book gets so big today. Ask most women, they can tell you about this 500 shades of some dude who likes to tie his significant other up.....and dominate her. Honey.....how can you have this book be a best seller in this 'me too' movement of today. Why isn't anyone criticizing the glorification of dominating women....many of these women seem to love this read and movie.....and attend the me too rally on the weekend.

    WTF

Personally I think there is a small minority of gun owners who are terminally paranoid (TP) that the government is going to take their guns away from them.

The overwhelming majority of gun owners acknowledge that taking away of their guns will never happen and have no problem with the mentally ill and domestics not being allowed to possess guns. I'll side with the majority.

Think 3rd party for 2024 folks. Clean up America.

Once I tell you that we agree to disagree there will be no more discussion between us in the thread so please don't waste your time continuing to argue your points because I will not respond.

But stand by while the NRA is being blamed because it fits your political agendas, meanwhile, ignoring the other reasons for these shootings.

    So does the NRA.

How about though.....Uncle Sam take it's power from those it governs....rather than the manner whereupon the Democrat Party dictates law.

But there has been a movement away from the Founder's intentions. Our government wasn't always this massive seller of weapons abroad while it tried to dictate gun ownership at home. Because in the late 1700's it was We the People who were intended to be armed.....the government less so. That We the People would outgun any government, that it was We the People who dictated government regulations over guns rather than the government via some incident like a school shooting to 'enforce' more regulation.

It's why I always remind my GOPers concerning these students, many wondering if such young voices have a sway. I mean, most of them seem to be supporting an age 21 limit on purchases when most are between 18-21. But it's We the People to include these students who do need to be listened to. And Members of the NRA. American Citizens going through the process of changing the law rather than the government taking action due to a tragedy.
