Insane libertarian wants to arm the homeless.

Arm homeless with shotguns to reduce crime, US Senate hopeful says

A U.S. Senate candidate in Michigan has proposed a plan to arm homeless people with shotguns in a bid to reduce crime.Brian Ellison, a Libertarian candidate who is expected to be the party’s candidate in the upcoming midterm elections, said homeless people are often at risk of becoming victims of violent crime and one way to prevent that is by providing them with firearms. He would be challenging Democratic incumbent Debbie Stabenow for the U.S. Senate seat in November, if he wins the Libertarian Party’s candidate.Ellison told the Guardian that although he thinks pistols for homeless people would be ideal, due to stringent gun laws, shotguns are the only alternative for them.
Maybe we should work towards making them "homed" instead of "armed" huh?

It's my understanding many don't want to be "homed".

God forbid we allow them to defend themselves.

I have the strangest feeling that if I labeled an actual lump of feces "libertarian" you would defend it.

No, I'm just not surprised you defended the ridiculous idea because it says "libertarian".

We used to lock up crazy people. Maybe we should just send them to California.

He's a libertarian. Aren't they trying to take over a state somewhere?

You have yet to establish it's a ridiculous idea. There's your personal incredulity, but that's nothing if not fallacious.

Also, I don't defend Libertarians as I think they're antithetical to libertarianism. I'm a libertarian, not a Libertarian. What, you don't know the difference?

What's interesting is you continue to troll. One way to detect a troll is to try and engage him in discussion. If he engages, he's sincere, if not, he's a troll.

I think this is a TERRIFIC idea -

And after a long day of panhandling, they can protect their fifth of Thunderbird.

But not real sure though how they secure it after passing out on a heating grate.
