Of course it doesnt erase history but its a silly attempt to. Listen Safety my family wasnt even here during the civil war I have no axe to grind with confederate statues. BUT

Everyone knows that taking down the statues is just an affront to some bogeyman. When you do something you should try to make it have a positive result. The result of taking down the statues is creating more and deeper racial resentment. Im sure you dont see it that way but you are intelligent enough to know thats exactly whats happened.

As long as blacks have white liberals pushing them to keep sticking slavery in the face of all other white americans who never had a thing to do with it you will keep making matters worse.

Older americans, not seniors but Older 40 up realize that they have been supporting alot of black people all their working lives and havent ever seen a shred of slavery or oppression NOR have they been apart of it.

Liberals and blacks should really try something that might make things better.

Anything someone liberal, black, Muslim, gay, woman, etc. does triggers social cons, so why should I or anyone else care about them being triggered over this?

I would say it's about Florida nit wanting to present a certain image in the US capital.

And i'd say this "statue replacement event" is more about Rick Scott greasing the skids for his soon to be announced Senate campaign.
