Fox military analyst says network makes him ashamed

Fox military analyst, retired army officer Ralph Peters, has decided not to renew his contract with the news channel citing that "it had turned into a propaganda machine for President Donald Trump's administration".

NEW YORK (AP) — A military analyst for Fox News said Tuesday that he was quitting the network because he believed it had turned into a propaganda machine for President Donald Trump's administration.
Ralph Peters, a retired U.S. Army officer, said he told Fox at the beginning of the month that he did not want his contributor contract renewed.
"Over my decade at Fox, I was long proud of the association," Peters wrote in an email that was distributed to colleagues at Fox News, and first reported by BuzzFeed News. "Now I am ashamed."

There is an opening for a military analyst at Fox News. Among the qualifications required, you must march in lockstep with the news commentators beliefs.

Think 3rd party for 2024 folks. Clean up America.

Once I tell you that we agree to disagree there will be no more discussion between us in the thread so please don't waste your time continuing to argue your points because I will not respond.

As opposed to MSNBC who has never a bad thing to say about any Democrat????

Perhaps he should just go to work for Mother Jones. We all know that magazine is totally unbiased.

Or maybe he just doesn't want to be a dishonest water bearer for Trump. It has nothing to do with the conscience and/or sensibilities of other media personalities. It's about his choice to be true to his own beliefs. Being a conservative does not mean by definition that you are a Trump supporter. He is offensive to more than just liberals. Some people are not impressed by loud, populist, ill-informed chameleons.
In quoting my post, you affirm and agree that you have not been goaded, provoked, emotionally manipulated or otherwise coerced into responding.

Apparently not, Peters quit of his own volition, he wasn't fired because of his lack of lockstepping.
It's ok if you disagree with me. I can't force you to be right.

You are correct; as stated in the article, Peters informed Fox that upon the expiration of his Personal Service Agreement (PSA), he was not interested in renewing it.

Ralph and I served together as Captains long ago. I noticed over the last three years he has become goofier. I believe he has webbed toes and fingers from swimming in the swamp too long. I shall not miss him.

This is simply goofy. LTC(r) Peters was free to give his informed opinion on current events. He was never asked to support President Trump nor Trump's policies.
