Just what "hypocrisy" do you believe that you detect here?

To reiterate, neither evangelicals nor fundamentalists think that they are voting for a minister-in-chief in November of those years evenly divisible by four.

These common knowledge things don't need to be defended. The request to do so is just to waste time discussing the issues.

Of course the left mocks religion (some of the left)- and many hate religion with a passion. This is common knowledge.

Common Sense is one of them. His objection here was particularly galling.
Whoever criticizes capitalism, while approving immigration, whose working class is its first victim, had better shut up. Whoever criticizes immigration, while remaining silent about capitalism, should do the same.

But, like many on the left, CS denies it.

You go into these small towns in Pennsylvania and, like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing's replaced them. And they fell through the Clinton administration, and the Bush administration, and each successive administration has said that somehow these communities are gonna regenerate and they have not.
And it's not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy toward people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.

Sorry, had other things to do.

I admit it's an example. Although not exactly mockery and it was done in a private email. I just don't see any wide spread mockery. Criticism, sure. But a private email between aides isn't exactly what's been eluded to. It seems like a google search wasn't very fruitful.

Bush the Younger and his administration held the religious right in contempt- privately.

Such denial. I can hear the cognitive dissonance.
