Mexico in a tight spot on immigrant caravan

How Ironic the Officials in mexican towns want the migrants OUT.

In some of the Mexican towns playing host to a “caravan” of more than 1,200 Central American migrants heading to the U.S. border, the welcome mat has been rolled out despite President Donald Trump’s call for Mexican authorities to stop them.

Local officials have offered lodging in town squares and empty warehouses or arranged transport for the migrants, participants in a journey organized by the immigrant advocacy group Pueblo Sin Fronteras. The officials have conscripted buses, cars, ambulances and police trucks. But the help may not be entirely altruistic.

“The authorities want us to leave their cities,” said Rodrigo Abeja, an organizer from Pueblo Sin Fronteras. “They’ve been helping us, in part to speed the massive group out of their jurisdictions.”

At some point this spring, the caravan’s 2,000-mile (3,200-km) journey that began at Tapachula near the Guatemalan border on March 25 will end at the U.S. border, where some of its members will apply for asylum, while others will attempt to sneak into the United States.

Should the US Military be prepared to repel this invasion?

No need. All it took was Trump throwing out a Twiddly tweet, tweet tweet.

    From @KathyS

    https://www.spartareport.com/2018/04...-trump-tweets/

Adolfo Flores, a reporter for Buzzfeed who has been embedded with the illegal alien caravans working their way through Mexico just reported that the Mexican government is going to forcibly disband the caravans. The Mexican government will grant the vulnerable ones, also known as the sick and the children, humanitarian visas to stay within Mexico and the rest will be DEPORTED.

They should, but they probably won't. I assume the migrants are headed for the California border. Texas would probably call out the Guard.

Looks like Trump wants to put National Guard on the Border.
Since Title 10 Troops can't be used for law Enforcement.

Trump wants military to secure border with Mexico
    ......

President Donald Trump said Tuesday he wants to use the military to secure the U.S.-Mexico border until his promised border wall is built.

Speaking at a lunch with Baltic leaders, Trump said he's been discussing the idea with his Defense Secretary, Jim Mattis.

"We're going to be doing things militarily. Until we can have a wall and proper security, we're going to be guarding our border with the military," he said, calling the measure a "big step."

"We really haven't done that before, or certainly not very much before," he said.

Trump's announcement came a day administration officials said they're crafting a new legislative package aimed at closing immigration "loopholes."

Trump also called on Republican lawmakers to immediately pass a border bill using the "Nuclear Option if necessary" to muscle it through, as part of a flurry of tweets on the subject over the last several days......snip~
