Everytime, I say I am going to go out and eat at restaurant alone. I end up staying home, throwing something in the microwave, or oven, turn on the tube and watch a movie.

Hell I don't even go out for fast food much anymore. Been wanting to order a pizza for months, but then I don't spend the 30 bucks on it and just go grocery shopping with that 30 bucks.

Did I mention I hate getting old. Plus its winter and I hate going out in that $#@!.

I prefer to cook at home, my point is that people should not be worried about going out and dining alone.

Have you ever tried buying the raw pizza dough and making your own pizza? You get to be as creative as you want to be with the toppings.

I have no problem with dining alone. If you travel on business you get used to it. It's more fun to have someone to talk to, but no one is pathetic because they are eating by themselves, plus it gives you an opportunity to catch up on some reading while you are eating.

Actually, there is a pizza place near here that has that option. I tried it once. It was pretty good, but it takes a lot of time.

Its not pathetic to eat alone but its alot less enjoyable and with DG I think his issue is he will miss eating with his family. When My wife is gone for a few days I dont go out to eat, I eat at home thats a choice.

Eating with others is a social event, eating alone is kinda like surviving, I dunno I just prefer to eat with others.

Eating alone may be better for your health because your attention is on eating rather than talking. I'm all for it!
