    Gender and moods

When I was a young man I remeber having to time certain conversations .... not to mention ... request around my beloved wife's moods.
But now in our late 50's I just realized that it hasn't changed, much.
If I wish to discuss anything of importance I sometimes have to wait a couple of days between tiredness from night shift and moods. I guess it wasn't all hormonal afterall. i just assumed it would be.... different by now.
So are any of you married men in the same boat? And to you women out there are we men the same? Are we moodier than we think we are?
I entered this post in this forum after realizing we don't have anything closer to a relationship forum. Telling but ptobably prudent.

I think we're all moodier than we perceive ourselves to be, honestly. Regardless of sex. We all liking making fun of others for being overly sensitive, but if we stop and think about it much, we're the same way ourselves a lot.

I am what’s known in the business as a jackass. But I have been married 34 years. I don’t really have those issues. I can tell when the good old period hits at times. It’s obvious. I just let that roll on by and she knows that there is some leeway to complain or whatever. But there is a limit.
I am tired of everyone fighting with each other. This is all by design.

Having been married almost 30 years now, I'm more or less about the same as I was on my wedding day which is easygoing; as a rule I'm not a moody person and my wife can be a bit moody at times, but I recognize that everyone has their moments. We communicate on an equal level and both respect each others viewpoints on whatever the topic is. I have been told by more then one person that i'm so easy to get along with that it makes them want to throw up.

Think 3rd party for 2024 folks. Clean up America.

Once I tell you that we agree to disagree there will be no more discussion between us in the thread so please don't waste your time continuing to argue your points because I will not respond.

I was told today that if somebody walked up and slapped me I'd wait two or three slaps before I did anything. That of course is a gtross over exxageration but I definitely don't have that power urge that so many people bring into work and homelife.

    That's cool.
I think its better to be just yourself and let people take you for what you are. My Grandmother always said that you always attract more flies with honey then vinegar.
