His opinion should be given the credibility given to any kid who has no experience in anything other than being a kid.

His first statement, the one he gave when first questioned, was more than likely the truth...he hadn't had time to fabricate a lie, a lie that would make him a 'celebrity'.

Afterwards, seeing he could milk it, could be seen as a 'survivor' and, get his ugly mug in front of the cameras, did his story change.

Anyway, he is obviously being used and Carlson is correct in so far as no one appears to have the guts (or the will) to tell this kid he's way out of line and that his behavior is virtually guaranteed to alienate people rather than lead to any sort of discussion. Several of our members seem OK with that. I was a little surprised by donttread though.

I haven't really been paying much attention but I have to admit this is particularly disturbing.

This is no different than using Jessica Lange and Sally Fields to speak before Congress about the plight of family farms because they played the role of farm wives in movies. David Hogg may know (and I don't really know one way or the other about that) about how it feels to be in a gun battle but he knows $#@! from shinola about the Constitution and laws.

I just saw a statistic that stated that 131 teens have been killed on the highway while texting while driving since Feb 14, 2018. Is Hogg going to take up that next? His only solution seems to be to outlaw guns despite the fact that would be nearly impossible and would not actually come close to solving the root problem. He has the right to $#@! about what ever he wants but adults have the responsibility to say, whoa, lets not jump into this feet first with our hands tied behind our backs. Lets look at what is really the issue here.
