    Should we fight on?

"Voters in Alaska's largest city have become the first in the U.S. to defeat a so-called bathroom bill referendum that asked them to require people to use public bathrooms and locker rooms consistent with their gender at birth."

"Currently 19 states plus the District of Columbia include gender identity as a protected class in statewide public accommodations laws, according to Colorado-based Family Policy Alliance, a public policy partner of the conservative Focus on the Family organization. Researcher Autumn Stroup said in an email that tracking city regulations is more complicated."

Anchorage voters want men dressed as women to piss with women. To shower with women.

    Isn't that just peachy?

Call your state legislators and insist they approve the Article V convention of States to propose amendments.

No, let it collapse and try to rebuild it when it does. It will happen. When all moral codes and cultural norms are destroyed we will go the way of Rome. Maybe, just maybe, we can keep the Muslims from becoming the dominant force.

I have changed peoples minds about this trannys in womens bathrooms. To me its glaring common sense, I want to make clear that my motivation for being steadfast against it, is not a hatred for trannys. Its about my wife my daughters and my grand daughters and everyone I know daughters and grand daughters.

Why would I be for any man with any nefarious intention to be allowed to put on a wig and lipstick and maybe a skirt and just walk into any womens room anywhere unquestioned. Its just $#@!in stupid is what it is

This fear that rapists will dress in skirts and attack women in bathrooms is based on nothing but speculation. People could sneak into any bathroom. Laws protecting trans people isn't going to lead to pervs raping girls.

Many trans people (not trannys) are passable. Essentially people are asking a trans person who looks like one sex to enter a bathroom of the other. Is it acceptable to ask a young trans girl to use the men's room?

LoL, and Alaska is one of the reddest states in the union.

“Conscientiously believing that the proper condition of the negro is slavery, or a complete subjection to the white man, and entertaining the belief that the day is not distant when the old Union will be restored with slavery nationally declared to be the proper condition of all of African descent, and in view of the future harmony and progress of all the States of America, I have been induced to issue this address, so that there may be no misunderstanding in the future”

In all honesty, there was never any need for any legislation. If you looked the part even remotely, no one was going to question you in the first place. All these laws do is embolden 6'4 transgenders with 24inch shoulders and beards and $#@! to enter womens bathrooms. Just creates more $#@!ery.

Since the dawn of public restrooms, there never were any laws about who could legally frequent a restroom, other than social convention. In all of that time, it has been a rare thing that a cross-dressing rapist has used a ladies room to prey on women. More often than not straight men in regular clothing have entered a ladies room when it was unfrequented and preyed upon whoever had the bad luck to enter. I've shared these spaces with transvestites and transexuals without issue. The point is, there were no laws stopping anyone from doing what you are afraid they will do now up until a couple of years ago. Rapists/sexual molesters or flashers have never sought permission. They have no more access now than they ever did. All this law has done is stop hysterical females from making a scene when a less feminine looking transperson uses the facilities and that includes females who look masculine.

Never mind the man in the dress. My concern is about the women who are forced to share toilets and showers with men they do not know.

I can't speak to showers, but women have been sharing toilets with trans people since I can remember. Those with beards and/or a masculine appearance used the men's room regardless of biological sex. The ladylike used the ladies room. It was never a problem. TBH I really don't care who is doing their business in a restroom stall, so long as they don't leave a mess and wash their hands. Women are not running around in a state of undress outside of the stalls.
