The Iraq’s were not responsible for 9-11, the saudis were... the israelis wanted to get rid of saddam because he attacked them during the first gulf war. there were weapons chemical weapons in Iraq, but that was no reason to invade and topple the country. There is a prevailing consensus that the republican terrorist organizations initiative in Iraq was misguided and wrong. It costs us trillions of dollars and thousands of lives.
