The research – conducted by a group at the University of Columbia – found that, while men were quicker, they got tired a lot faster than women.

One of the scientists involved in the study, Professor Brian Dalton, said: “We’ve known for some time that women are less fatigable than men during isometric muscle tests – static exercises where joints don’t move, such as holding a weight – but we wanted to find out if that’s true during more dynamic and practical everyday movements.....snip~

Oh.....from the University of Columbia. Imagine that.
I ahve heard that if a human could run far enough women would eventually win the race. So I can buy this but it's not very .... functional. In real practice how many women can out mannuel labor their male counter parts? The ability may be there but the desire is not

Takes stamina to be loaded down with equipment and weapons and do a 20 mile force march.

Also there is weather conditions. Heat and snow.
