By the way, wasn't Trump's last strike on Syria intended to stop the use of chemical weapons? By accusing the Syrian government of using chemical weapons in Douma, isn't the Trump administration tacitly admitting that their last strike was a huge failure?
Power always thinks it has a great soul, and vast views, beyond the comprehension of the weak. And that it is doing God service when it is violating all His laws.

No, it was to PUNISH THEM for using chemical weapons, as was this more recent strike. And the punishment will get more painful, if they continue to do so...

Trump is violating multiple important promises he made to Americans and you're cheering for it because you think it makes the US look tough. In reality, it makes the US look stupid, arrogant, and aggressive. That's why only two other countries - France and the UK - participated in the attacks. The rest of the world wanted nothing to do with it. Germany has just announced that there is no solution in Syria without Assad. Our own Kurdish allies in Syria have said that overthrowing Assad is a bad idea. Christians in Syria rely on Assad's government for their protection. Attacking Assad is aiding and abetting Islamist terrorism.

There is no proof that Syria has a "chem-bio weapons plant", just as there is no proof that Syria used chemical weapons in Douma. It's just a giant pile of lies concocted by deep-state warmongers.

He doesn't have to do anything because nothing was done. Just like the LAST TIME Trump launched missiles at Syria, this changes nothing.

Yea, and that's very important to you, appearing tough. Less important, however, is appearing intelligent. And that's a problem.
    Yeah...the Russians LIE...always.
Every arms limitations treaty was have agreed to with them , serve as cases in point; pick one.
Appeasing despots is "appearing intelligent" where, exactly, other than by Obama and Chamberlain?

Strength and intelligence are not mutually exclusive. The world's bad actors absolutely RELY on other leaders to desperately to try to "talk" them out of doing what they are doing, ala Obama.

Pres.Trump is far too intelligent for that; he knows that FORCE is all they understand, and fear..as history has taught us, repeatedly.

This thread is about the Navy's tactics, and how they playing into the successful strike against Syria.

You want to continue your complaining over the use of force, go to the other thread, please.

Not the issue on this one, and stop trying to derail it into that.

Why isn't anyone reporting on what is going on in the ME right now. Russia shooting down Israeli missiles in Syria and Iran is in this.Looks like a gag order for the IDF. Our media tells us nothing.

I don't like Paul but he has a live feed, Paul Begley. His voice "are you serious" annoys me to death and I don't trust him and he is just stupid but..............

I’ll go with UK PM May: we did it to prevent future human suffering. It was justified morally.
Russia was supposed to get the weapons out, they either were lied to or are complicit in keeping some around.

Btw, didn’t Hussein and Long John Kerry swear the wmds were gone?
