Mom who left kids alone to visit Germany gets probation

Police were called to her home in September by the children’s father, who said the kids — two 12-year-olds, a 7-year-old and a 6-year-old — had been left alone the day before. Police say Macke failed to make child care arrangements before leaving Sept. 20 for a 10-day vacation in Germany.

Probation and, loss of custody.....is what I would go for.

Either bad mothers are being reported more than in the past and theres always been this many bad mothers, or bad mothers have grown greatly in number, because everyday theres horrible bad mother stories, neglect, even torture and murder.

Used to be when i was a kid the only constant in a kids life was his mother loving him or her and looking out for them and always being there.
