This got pretty ugly. Sheesh. I'll chime in tomorrow about the bible, myth, Islam and so on.
Whoever criticizes capitalism, while approving immigration, whose working class is its first victim, had better shut up. Whoever criticizes immigration, while remaining silent about capitalism, should do the same.

Well, let's see... I have 20,000 fewer posts than you do, yet I have 4,000 more thanks. Basic math says the forum community values my contributions significantly more than yours. I was voted in as a VIP while you were never even considered. And I kicked your ass in a head-to-head credibility poll. On every objective metric, you lose and lose badly. But because you are deeply narcissistic individual, you will go on pretending like you are important.

Have things ever managed to stay civil when Tahu is involved? The guy is an obnoxious, omnipresent meathead. He belongs inside a zoo flinging his excrement at the other apes. Mature, intellectually honest discussions about politics (or anything else for that matter) are beyond his ken.

Thank you. I have no desire to share your company. I'd just as soon shove a sharp stick into my eye. My bad eye.

Overly simplistic doesn't begin to describe it. There is also an element of vanity in believing that the creator-god of the universe just happens to hold the same prejudices and picayune concerns that you do...that he is troubled over doctrinal minutiae and observances while thousands of children die painfully from cancer and other diseases, and even the natural world of animals is a charnel house of pain and predation. There is a reason that most Christians are indoctrinated into the Faith at a very young age; most adults, having lived a few decades in the real world, faced with those silly, illogical myths and unanswered questions for the first time, would reject them out of hand as bad Fantasy.

Correct but in the OP it was claiming many Christians don't read the Bible. I say the same thing. It's frustrating that many can't even answer simple clear questions and have a Bible at home. They will listen to John Hagee, Rick Warren, Joel Olsten, T.J Jakes, Pat Roberson and many other false teachers because they don't know His word. I don't tell people what they want to hear. Those will tell you Christians will be out of here before Trib starts but if you read the Bible over 5 times in the NT He says different. How many times does He have to say in the Bible "After the Tribulation Sun and Moon darkened, lift up your eyes your redemption draws near. But they will tell you Christians are already gone.

The reprobate doctrine well I will put up a sermon and you can listen or not in the Religion thread from Brother Bruce Mejia. But it's important to put on the full armor of God. To not listen to those who don't believe and repeat what they say.
