Republican wins US House race in Arizona GOP stronghold

GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) — Republican Debbie Lesko has won the special election in Arizona's 8th Congressional District, keeping the U.S. House seat in GOP control
The former state senator on Tuesday defeated Hiral Tipirneni, a former emergency room physician. Tipernini had hoped to replicate surprising Democratic wins in Pennsylvania, Alabama and other states in a year where opposition to President Donald Trump's policies have boosted the party's chances in Republican strongholds.
Lesko replaces former Rep. Trent Franks, a Republican who resigned in December amid sexual misconduct allegations.

The left is saying 5.2 % is "too close for comfort" for republicans. Before the election they claimed that 1 or 2 % would be a concern. The democrats threw everything into this race and the closest they could come is 5.2 %. They are going to be very disappointed in the midterms.

Can we really hear the voice of the people shouting

    We want higher taxes
We want more illegals in the country
We want the Chinese to have the upper hand in trade
We want our military to be weaker than in 1932
    We want the Constitution trashed
We want more government intrusion in our lives.

Can we really hear those cries? Because that would be the message if the Democrats gained power again.

The Blue Wave is media hype.

Their only significant wins were barely winning with one running as a republican in Pennsylvania, and the other barely beating a severely scandalized candidate in Alabama , a victim of STILL- UNSIBSTANTIATED CLAIMS against him, BTW....

    Other than those two..NADA.

The dems have lost over 1,000 seats nationwide under Obama, and the GOP has more national, state and local control than anytime since 1931.

Meanwhile the dems are sticking with "we favor illegals over Americans", and "we want to take back your tax cuts."

    Good luck with that.

It was a Special Election too.

Looks like they couldn't Demonize Debbie Lesko like they did with other Repubs in Special Elections.

Still according to Phillip Rucker the Demos say they aren't worried. Despite having no agenda other than Pelosi saying they will repeal the tax cuts and raise taxes on everybody.

They still believe the Lame Stream will help put them over the top. According to some Demos.....its already in the bag. They are even celebrating with the DNC revealing their future victory plans.

We are already hearing those cries, every time Democrats open their mouths....they say it every time they shield one more criminal illegal in their cities, every time they force the taxpayers to support those illegals...etc, etc...

Just a couple of months ago, the Democrats had a double digit lead in the national polls as they pertained to the mid term elections. That lead has nearly evaporated.
