Busted: Port Authority commissioner telling cops: 'You may shut the f--- up!'

God, I used to work for a woman who was almost exactly like that, in terms of temperament and attitude...and she was from New Jersey, too.

I have to wonder whether the Commish was even dimly aware that her performance was being recorded. Then again, I've found that some people who are like that don't really understand what they look and sound like to other people. She may very well have believed that she was being all slick and reasonable.

She didnt know if she had shes the type of woman that would have had honey dripping down her chin for the camera.

Oh good lord! The car didn't even belong to her daughter! She had to make damn sure she threw ALL of her weight around. She made a complete fool of herself, probably thought she was impressing her daughter and her friends.... what was with having to mention, more than once, the young women were PhD students, at MIT and, Yale?

You go ahead, miss, excuse me, 'commissioner' and file any complaint you want, the video will speak for the officers.

Also for some reason she thought being an "UNPAID" appointed Port Authority Commissioner carried some kind of weight. She doesnt get a badge nor does she get official ID. She handed him a business card, he said this isnt Identification she said yes it is. She also thought being a resident in that town meant that she is above the law.

Truth is she is a woman who believes she is privledged and better than anyone else. She thought the two cops were going to melt for her and just let everyone go on their merry way.

Yes I was watching this one earlier. She was treating these two cops like they were in High School and she and those going to college, was so much better than them. I hear she had to resign

What does this have to do with some Port Authority Commissioner's Daughter and her friends getting pulled over by the Cops, and this female Democrat throwing her uhm title around?

Those officers at first were a little intimidated and they shouldnt be. Finally the taller of the two started to get annoyed.

They did not have to allow that to go on as long as they did, in the end it worked out well for them but they were well within their authority to "order" her back into her car as she was interfering with a law enforcement officer performing their duty. Also you do not allow people to stand along side a busy road for that long kabitizing and arguing, its a danger to them and yourself. If she refused several orders to go back to her car they could have cuffed her and put her in theirs.

I don't think it was so much that they were intimidated as they were kind of surprised by her actions. I think they had a brief moment of disbelief then realized they were dealing with an egostirical idiot.


They might have been able to end it more quickly. They were fairly young officers and the woman was obviously impressed with herself and she wanted those youngsters to be just as impressed.


She probably wouldn't have persisted in her argument had the officers been older.

The article describing the incident says that she is a Democrat lobbyist and affiliated with the Clinton campaign finance committee. Take from that what you will....

For some, comments were made before knowing she was a Democrat, im sure.

It wouldn't matter, either way, she made a fool of herself, political affiliation doesn't change it.
