Could I not rent to a black family, as easily as a Democrat family and, have both be ok?

If a person can discriminate against ANYONE for whatever reasons they choose, why is it ok to do so against a Trump supporter and not a black person/family?

Now, people are into making their own rules/laws, based on personal feelings and, as long as they lean left, it's acceptable?

It's ok, then, to discriminate based on 'feelings' and, simply not liking a person or, where they stand politically... suppose ' you don't like black people? What, is the damn difference?

It isn't right to discriminate against people based on skin color, but, ok, for personal reasons?

That's a lot of hogwash, discrimination is, discrimination, you can't pick and choose, to suit an agenda.

If you can discriminate against people who don't share your views, why can't an establishment owner throw out a black person because he/she doesn't like the color black?

It's the exact same thing. Same as throwing out anyone with whom you don't share views/lifestyle/opinions, etc....can gay people be thrown out, because you don't like their lifestyle?

Either it's discrimination, or it isn't, there are no variables.... like being, 'a little pregnant.'

Quite simply, we have laws in this country against discriminating people on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, sex, age over 40, and handicaps. There are variables. As of now, homosexuality is not a federally-protected class, though in many states and locales it is.

It is not the same thing. Simply put, we have laws. If you want to have a law banning discrimination on the basis of political views, call your congressperson.

If you could prove it was because they were Democrats and not because they were black you could.

I'm not sure who the burden of proof would fall on, but your point is well taken -- though, I don't understand why you necessarily equate Democrat with black, but the CAVS won!!! so ok.

But not if you are a business................you can believe and say what you want, personally, but it is illegal to discriminate as a business, just ask the baker or the pizza maker...............

    Yeah. This really isn't complex.

One definition of discrimination. " The act of unfairly treating a person or group of people differently from other people or groups."

It isn't only about race, religion, age etc, but, the unfair treatment of ANY person or group whom you view as, different.....you would certainly view a person or group, that had different political views, as different.
