    That's probably an even better way of getting my point across. The issue is really one of economic reductionism.
    Regarding Deneen, we definitely agree. I suspect that any conscious attempt to "go back" would produce something hideous like Nazism. Even Alain de Benoist argues that liberal individualism has value that should be retained.
