Thee species that survive and thrive are those who best fit their circumstances. It is not about individuals.

"Survival of the fittest" is a boiled down term to describe a very complex set of circumstances we do not fully understand. While evolution obviously occurred , there are some holes in our understanding of it . And it only applies to fitness for a particular set of circumstances and only then when it effects the number of offspring produced.

People need to understand that a bill from a hospital or physicians office where the total charges are billed that they only receive 25% to 30% from both the insurance company and the person who is covered under them. the rest is written off per contract with the carrier. A heart attack or cancer is not as expensive as you think when you understand what is being paid.

Yeah, that's what I just said. We agree ! The "breeding advantage part" is why stupid people who die doing stupid stuff , like playing chicken with cars, only improve the gene pool if they have not breed yet.
