No, it's a term invented by white supremacist Richard Spencer.

Yet rightwinger is used that way, even though rightwingers usually don't overreact--not the way some liberals overreact about being called liberals, socialists socialists, Marxist Marxist, even hint that someone's ideas derive from Marx expect a hissyfit.
"Overreactions" on the left in this connection usually relate to mislabeling that seems either intentional or the product of baseless, paranoid conspiracy theories. For example, most leftists are not communists or Marxists of any kind, and least of all people like Obama. Yet throughout his tenure in office, ordinary neoliberals like Obama were frequently labeled "communists" "Marxists", and even specifically "Maoists" by tea party activists and other rightists (including many on this message board). Hell, you may recall that Mitt Romney at one point even labeled Newt Gingrich as an opponent of capitalism during the 2012 Republican primary campaign!

One supposes then that the term feminazi is used because the left uses nazi and fascist as hate terms and to toss it back is effective.
One can agree that the term fascist is overused on the left as well. Radical feminists, for example, are sometimes branded as "fascists" too by organizations like Class War, Antifa, and the Democratic Socialist of America, which is patently absurd. But I would not consider it an inaccurate descriptor of people like Richard Spencer though.

1 Spencer didn't coin it, a liberal media lie.

    2 Spencer is a Marxist, self-proclaimed.

What is the alternative to the right but Marxist socialism?

The overreactions are because the left takes things things personally rather than politically. Sort of the way some in this thread tried to make things about you. It beats having to discuss ideas.

Agree, since Spencer is a socialist and fascism is based on socialism.
