When I drive past the horse property neighborhood here I always feel bad for the horses just standing still in the Arizona heat. I could not put an animal through that. Yours look happy though Kathy with romping room to do horse stuff.

As long as a horse has shade, plenty of fresh water and, salt, they usually do just fine....just don't go riding when it's the hottest part of the day.
My horses also had misters to stand under, if they chose to.
