    Pay to play....

Firm linked to Russian mogul paid $500,000 to Trump attorney Michael Cohen
Let's see..Cohen's company, Essential Consultants LLC, received the money from a U.S. offshoot of the business empire of Russian oligarch Viktor Vekselberg.....then there's AT&T and Novartis...

I have not seen a thread on this, which I find surprising, considering how many here raked Clinton through the coals allegations of the same thing....I know for a fact that several here would have been posting threads left and right had this happened to a Dem president....

So, my question to all the ones that constantly brought up "pay to play" during the 2016 campaign (you all know who you are), is why are you "suddenly" so quiet now?

Some inaccuracies but some serious "consulting fees" were paid to Cohen's company Essential Consultants too.

"Lawyers for President Donald Trump's personal attorney, Michael Cohen, on Wednesday disputed some of the allegations from a report questioning payments made to Cohen's company, saying it contained
    numerous inaccurate statements."
"In a court filing, the lawyers said the report attributes payments to Cohen that were actually sent to different individuals who are also named Michael Cohen".
"The Michael Cohen who apparently received this wire is a Canadian citizen who has conducted foreign aid work for Actuarial Partners in Tanzania — not the plaintiff Michael D. Cohen in this case," Cohen's lawyer, Stephen Ryan, said in response to one of the payments allegedly made to his client."

If it was proved that Cohen's activities at Cohen's company Essential Consultants used his relationship with his client Mr.Trump to commit any crime then he should be prosecuted.to the fullest extent of the law. Period.

Just amazing at the turn of events. There was not a thread about Clinton where someone didn't mention pay to play, and now we have proof of actual pay to play in this administration and *poof* the crickets have taken over.

So you two don't really give a damn about the story, you just want to jump and wave your hands and shout hypocrisy at some unknown members.

Seriously, I had to look up Clinton and pay to play and found some news about a Justice Department investigation of the Clinton Foundation that I vaguely recall hearing about. Who was it raised a fuss here?

Well, of course he should but that doesn't seem to be the point here.

I'm surprised the responses haven't included "deep state", "witch hunt" or "fake news".

Apparently people don't enjoy when their hypocrisy is pointed out.

If this is connected to Trump why did Mueller pass the Cohen investigation off to the Justice Department ?? Will Mueller now pick it up ?? How did Avenatti get a hold of Cohen's bank records ?? The discovery phase hasn't even begun, that's a serious leak. The Mueller team, bank officials, DoJ or somebody got some splainin to do.
It's ok if you disagree with me. I can't force you to be right.
