    Good points. I envision a scenario when we are fighting along side allies still using 5.56 and the 6.8 that our guys need is in short supply or unavailable until resupply can happen.

    Of course, I see it differently. If we make the change now we will have plenty of ammunition when the time comes.
    Call your state legislators and insist they approve the Article V convention of States to propose amendments.

    I suppose you could come up with some rare event. From my very limited experience with special operators, it would seem the team will carry weapons appropriate to the mission.
