Pope Francis hints he may retire

I believe the pope is being pushed to retire, Ive read alot about the pope and the cardinals and bishops for the most part not being behind his changes to the church.
Many catholics have voiced their dislike for this popes positions and political statements
The catholic league is against many of his policies and proposed changes.
His being replaced has been in the works for a while.

Pope Francis says he has thought about when it might be time to “take leave” of his flock. Francis made the comment during his morning homily Tuesday; the Vatican didn’t release the full text.
Francis was reflecting on St. Paul discerning when to leave his flock in the care of others, a decision Francis said all bishops must make.
He said: “When I read this, I think about myself, because I’m a bishop and I’ll have to take my leave.”
Francis has said retired Pope Benedict XVI “opened a door” to future popes by resigning. While the 81-year-old pope has said he didn’t envisage a long papacy, he hasn’t said explicitly if he’d retire.

Francis may have also been referring to Chilean bishops implicated in a sex abuse cover-up scandal.

I am not a fan of this Pope. I applaud his desire to care for the poor, which we as Christians are called to do. I think he comes at it from the framework of an Argentinian experience. His perception of capitalism is Argentinian Capitalism -- corrupt capitalism. I'm old-school Catholic and don't like doctrinal "changes" based on reinterpretation of ancient texts or what's suddenly popular. I think that he let himself get used by the leftists on a few items. It'll be interesting to see where this goes.

I agree, if youve kept up with it, this pope went waaaaaay overboard and just angered many catholics

I did not like that change either, the turning around and shaking hands and without a latin mass it changed it dramatically.

I know many Catholics who are both liberal and conservative. Both sides are united in that they don’t approve of the current Pope.
