That the influx of tens of millions of poor migrants has impacted inequality in the US is obvious. Surely you understand that.

That is 3% of the population, if you are talking about undocumented migrants. So, are you referring to undocumented migrants or legal immigrants?

Wealth inequality isn't the issue- it is not as bad in the US as many make it out to be (they often leave out government assistance programs when they crunch the numbers).

The main problems are the lack of new affordable houses and "education inequality" - too many either pay zero attention in school and end up working as unskilled or low skilled workers and too many get degrees in useless disciplines.

Both of those (you blaming the students for poor education notwithstanding) are part of what is referred to as "wealth inequality".

Is immigration a big issue in Hawaii? How about Washington state? I doubt that Hawaii has many undocumented migrants and Washington's illegals tend to currently be Asians who overstay their visas. What do Hawaii, Washington and California have in common? High costs of living.

Doc you grossly underestimate the impact of illegal immigrants in this country as do all liberals. Illegal immigrants have saturated this country in all states, Including Puerto rico and alaska.

They force labor wages down across the board for all americans. Ironically liberals defense of illegal immigrants hurts those that you are posting about in this thread, american citizens at the lower end of the socio economic ladder and MINORITIES.

You should know the truth about our public education, then you would understand why were behind the rest of the industrial nations.

Kids are GIVEN diplomas that hadnt been in school a 100 days year, because each kid represents 15,000 or more to the school whether they are there or not. They hand them diplomas and they cant read a paragragh at high school level because it makes their graduation statistics look just fantastic and creates an illusion of success.

Public schools are giving diplomas to near morons that hardly attended, never paid attention and never passed a test. I KNOW THAT thats not opinion.
