Friends watch as man falls to his death taking selfie at tourist hot spot

Friends watched on in horror as a man plunged to his death after attempting to take a selfie at a popular Australian tourist site.
The international student, said to be in his 20s, was “mucking around” with his friends when he fell 130-feet onto rocks at Western Australia’s notorious tourist hot spot, The Gap. He was then swept out to sea.
“We were new here, we don’t know about that, they had just gone taking pictures,” the man’s friend, Sahil Khenchi, told the Australian Broadcasting Company.

I just got back from a trip to Utah. Zion was filled with people posing on cliff sides with selfie sticks. I'm surprised more people don't get injured.

Every once in a while, you do hear of someone dropping over the edge. Personally speaking for myself, I stay at least 50 yards from the edge.

You're not going to see much if you're that far away. It's fine to look over the edge...but not to take a selfie.

This is the 3rd death ive read about recently with young people taking selfies in precarious spots.

One got hit by a truck taking a selfie in the middle of the road so he could get the front of a building in his selfie, that was in Europe also

If they hadn't bred yet , it will improve the species. And God know that is needed.
