If that's what he believes, that's fine. It's not accurate, nor is it the truth. He has a right to be wrong. That's not my point. The issue being discussed was the kinds of things that "bring out the haters." Some people were making the claim that all they need to do is praise Trump, and they get hated for it. That is not the entire story, because as I pointed out, their love for Trump is often associated with hatred for liberals. His signature is a perfect example of it.

I'm not against anybody who likes Trump, and has a good reason for it. Trump has business experience (albeit, pretty unethical, but experience is experience...) and that can be a great thing for the economy. That's a good reason to like Trump. But liking Trump just because you hate liberals is a different thing. Now that's starting to get narrow-minded, and arrogant. I have yet to see a Trump supporter on this forum who is not simultaneously attacking liberals. I also see very few posters who break with the "right" on issues, because they support the conservative agenda without a need to analyze the issues. The cart leads the horse.
