Oh My: GOP Surges to 2018 Generic Ballot Lead in New Reuters Poll.....

    UPDATE: Oh my:

    Chris Kahn‏ @Cmkahn May 21

Say good-bye to the D-advantage in the generic ballot. Our latest Reuters/Ipsos poll shows that registered voters as likely to support Republicans as Democrats.

That was yesterday. Today? The GOP is up six points in this series. Color me a bit skeptical, and these numbers will bounce around regardless, but Republicans haven't led on this question in any major in roughly two years, so it's worth flagging. What explains this see-saw back toward Republicans? As someone once said, it's the economy, stupid:

If you're keeping track at home, we've hit a 11-year high, a 13-year high, and a 17-year high on overall or economic national outlook in three distinct polls published over the last week or so. That said, it would be insane for Republicans to feel even remotely assured that their majorities will remain intact after November......snip~

Imagine that, the Repubs just shot up 4 more pts in a day. All with the Demos coming out and saying they will impeach Trump.(Al Green D-TX)

Then with the Demos coming up with their new slogan.

Also note the Demos worst fundraising for April going back to 2006.

Its all starting to come together and Trump may break the cycle of a President losing the House in a Mid Term. The Demos are being seen for what they really are. A bunch of Butt hurt losers who started a soft coup against Trump. The Country sees they have no message other than they will raise Taxes. Plus people are tiring of their Resistance and Obstruction. What say ye?

Still a long way to go. As Lebron said: Nothing is given, everything is earned. The R's can still mess it up, and probably will. Then again, the more the D's talk about impeachment, the more they alienate my independent friends (and some of my D friends).

Yep, this morning they did mention that Trump still has support from Democrats. Blue Dogs of the People.

I wouldn't put it past the Dems to $#@! up this layup.

They need new leadership and a coherent message beyond "$#@! Trump".

The D's are so invested in the F-Trump message it's hurting them.
The R's are so invested in proving they aren't racist, aren't homophobes, aren't anti this or that, that it is hurting them.

Why can't we all just get along.....

Al Green (Tx-D) yesterday, made the headlines again about impeaching Trump. Said they will Impeach if they win the House.

Then forgets the Senate would be controlled by Repubs and their Impeachment goes nowhere.

Also their DNC needs new leadership. People other than Lopez and Ellerson. Their fundraising for April was as low as it was in 2006. Plus they are still in the Red. Like 6 mil in debt.

The Democrats don't stand for anything, so this isn't surprising.

If the Dems don't take the House they are a sorry excuse for a political party. They have been on a losing streak since they put Obama in office. That didn't work out well for them.

They have nothing to sell. They still don't understand middle America. They still think they have a Blue Wall and identity politics still works. They think nominating a black woman to run for Governor of Georgia means something. When she loses the race card will come out.
Liberals are a clear and present danger to our nation

A lot of events which will impact the election will take place between now and November. Some of those events will be a surprise.

Of course they will play the race card if she loses, which is likely.

Her loss won’t have anything to do with her positions on the various issues.
