Thread: Why is retirement so stressful?

    I retired way earlier than most, so I've already been retired for 25 years. Imagine, if I live to 100, that will be almost 50 years of retirement. Ha! I think the hardest part was finding a good place to retire but eventually I did find a good place. It's a retirement community with hundreds of interesting clubs. The only problem is: I tend to get bored with them before long. Fortunately, something new always comes along to grab my interest. I'm in good health physically and financially so I'm looking forward to at least another 25 years. So far, getting older is an adventure that I enjoy.

    Because people don't know what to replace it with. Find a competitive hobby, like weightlifting, a sport, something of that nature.
