Certainly there is blame on both sides for the hyper polarization, but the language I hear from many on the right is more divisive than the left. Of course that's my biased perspective though. It's hard not to come to that conclusion when people on the right claim they are the real Americans.

I disagree that the lefts goal is division. I'm not sure where you get that.

    You're joking, right?

You're also not very big on metaphor now are you. It's probably that sneer that blinds.

Orion Rules: Forget the two "mainstream" political parties, because neither one is mainstream, but the similar folds of 'hold-it-over-until-the-next-election'! Regarding both parties, where has the privately owned Federal Reserve Bank been sent back to the same hole where are its foundations? War after war for money interests and that's the banking system. The people have a right to secede from what they don't approve of, so let it rain! Stars and stripes are 13.

Demonizing liberals and people of color sets the tone!
No, Blacks and Whites and all the colors of the rainbow coalition have an interest in putting down the Beast system. The privately owned Federal Reserve Bank is unconstitutional and should not gather interest on what it never owned in the first place. It began by creating money out of thin air, and what gave a certain group that right?

So the people fight between themselves to receive nothing but history. And much of the history is what one side or the other says it is. So while they are assembling against each other, there is more need for law and order. What law and order exists when the head of the corruption should be cut off! Rep. Louis T. McFadden (R. Pa.) rose from office boy to become cashier and then President of the First National Bank in Canton Ohio. For 12 years he served as Chairman of the Committee on Banking and Currency, making him one of the foremost financial authorities in America. He fought continuously for fiscal integrity and a return to constitutional government (Reference 1). The following are portions of Rep. McFadden's speech, quoted from the Congressional Record, pages 12595-12603:

"THE FEDERAL RESERVE BOARD, A GOVERNMENT BOARD, HAS CHEATED THE GOVERNMENT OF THE UNITED STATES AND THE PEOPLE OF THE UNITED STATES OUT OF ENOUGH MONEY TO PAY THE NATIONAL DEBT.

The depredations and the iniquities of the Federal Reserve Board and the Federal Reserve banks acting together have cost this country ENOUGH MONEY TO PAY THE NATIONAL DEBT SEVERAL TIMES OVER."

Well, yeah, I'd imagine that's the goal of divisive rhetoric. Race, sex, class....you name it. The Democrats (and progressives generally) employ extremely divisive rhetoric. It's only a question of their intent not "where he got that from". That much is obvious.

I agree with most of what I understood you to say. I would go further and say the people are not even left with history, customs, traditions, all that is undermined by the government under the individualism of the liberal project, liberal, conservative, even libertarian alike.
