    Addicted to Outrage

So I was scrolling through my Facebook feed and watched a video that my friend shared.

I watched it, chuckled, and was about to move on with my day but then I went and looked at the comments (almost always a mistake).

As usual, there were a number of comments expressing some kind of outrage or disapproval. Here are some of the more popular comments along those lines:

Am I only who thinks this child is being raised to be a snotty little brat, all in the name of humour?
I think her mother is doing her a great disservice. Hopefully her real life personality is nothing like her YouTube personality. Sadly, based on her videos, she doesn't sound like the type of child I would want my child playing with. She comes off as mean and arrogant. I'm sure it's part of the schtick, but
Between just these two comments, they had over 4,000 likes.

I am constantly amazed at how uptight people can be about the most trivial stuff. And generally speaking, I wouldn't be surprised if the kind of people expressing these opinions are also the same people who tend to support authoritarian government in the form of a police state and/or a nanny state.

Do these people not realize this child is acting? And that she's obviously enjoying herself? Or are they just looking for any excuse to be judgmental and to feel superior?
Power always thinks it has a great soul, and vast views, beyond the comprehension of the weak. And that it is doing God service when it is violating all His laws.
