I keep reading lately about Scandinavian socialism and tax the rich and so on. Nonsense...



A few highlights: Sweden, like other Scandinavian countries, created their wealth with free trade and free markets. Then they adopted socialized institutions. What they found was two things: a) if you tax the rich, the rich stop investing and the economy goes downhill, and b) welfare creates a disincentive to work, why should you when the other guy doesn't but still benefits. As a result the people drew a line, said stop, and ran the social democrats out.

which people? The illegal aliens? WTF do we owe them when our own suffer? All that money spent on them would and should be used to aid our own.

Liberals define need in an insane way. You don't have the right to live as well as me if you don't want to work like I did. Cell phones are not a need. TV is not a need. Crab legs is not a need.

Liberals define need as social obligation. Happiness is not something to pursue but to be provided. The incentives are reversed.
