Black Bear killed on Akron highway
This black bear caused quite a stir in the Akron / Wadsworth / Medina area recently. He busted up bird feeders, bee hives and was causing general mayhem. Unfortunately, it was struck by a car early Tuesday morning and killed in Akron.

If you have black bears in your area, its prudent not to attract them with any food at all

A local claimed to have seen one around these parts. Footprints have been seen around our area. We are only 30 miles or so from KY. As food becomes scarce they will widen their hunting area.
