Let the court rule as it may but it is his duty to do so. It was the Obama’s duty likewise with respect to the defense of marriage act. I do not engage in what about-ism. I don't believe that it is the Executive's duty (or ability) to interpret what laws are or aren't constitutional. That is for the courts. It is the Executive's duty to enforce the laws enacted by the legislative branch, including defending same before the judiciary. To do otherwise, puts it in the role of the judiciary.
