A Living Wage for Mods.. Proposal.....

Given the hard work the Mods put in keeping this place in line I submit a proposal.. In America no person should have to work hard thankless hours and not receive a living wage. Mods benefit our society and democracy. They don't have the privilege of the posters and suffer from a history of discrimination. Their working conditions are brutal. 2am PM wars and Reports at all hours on abusive threads! They are the true underclass of our time.

In its most basic form Mod Diversity is our strength.


I propose every member contribute towards a living wage for the Mods.

We don't need to come up with like a zillion dollars....

Thank you for such a bright opening. It might be a good reason for you to apply to a position of becoming a moderator inside of this same forum. Not for pay, although that might be a good, valid reason. That is, you could supervise the others, to make sure the rules are tightened up, and then their enforcement happens. This board could fill with real opportunities. Good people could form some real positive, intelligent narratives. For some have said that the stifling and constant attacks are all done with a real purpose, but who knows? It just seems to be the constants. Probably not, but for such, there must be exceptions. I agree 100% -- for mods of ThePoliticalforums. Not SDMB mods -- they are banndits. A bnndit is a ban-happy mod.
