Aren't the Leftist on this board and nationwide the ones who were $#@!ting their pants about Hawaii, Alaska and the West Coast being "nuked soon" the same ones declaring "failure" by Trump.

IMO, this morning's signing is similar to the the election loss heartburn felt by the Left. It is a bad day for them and I am glad for it. Trump has done more for the Koreas than any POTUS in 60 years.

    Suck sour grapes Leftists.

If Clinton had won she would have supported a nuke strike on the U.S. so she could put martial law into affect making her length of time in power indefinite.

I'm hopeful that this leads to something tangible and I give Trump credit for that. But lets be realistic. These last couple of days were nothing but eye candy. Time will tell if anything substantive comes from it.

I am proud of Trump on this one. He did a good thing here https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world...cid=spartanntp The world needs peace. I do not give Trump the credit for this as the credit belongs to Moon Jae-in. But if Trump didn't go along with it then peace would not have been possible. I see this as one great thing Trump has done so far. He SHOULD be proud of this one. I hope for the best for us all.

It was not Trump it was Moon Jae-in. Trump did not initiate the peace movement it was South Korea that did it. This is not a Trump or right issue. It is a world issue. There is not a person who is a normal citizen who is alive today who is not happy about this. Everyone is happy about what Trump did. Lets not try to make it an argument against the left or right. A win is a win for us all. This is a win for all beings of the world.

Regarding your last sentence I would imagine that the NK's in the gulags and forced labor camps in NK probably wouldn't see it that way. Was there mention of any of that in the statement? Don't get me wrong, I'm glad Trump did this and things are certainly marginally more stable in terms of a conflict than they were nine months ago during the "Rocket Man", "Dotard" era. Don't let yesterdays love fest which was nothing but optics make you forget what the Dear Leader truly is.

Well I just found an article that I could not believe. I guess there are really ignorant people in the press who do not want there to be peace and are trying to ruin it. https://www.thedailybeast.com/trumps...he-us-at-least Why would anyone do that? What is wrong with people. Do they think if they destroy peace that Trump wont get credit and wont get elected again. That is a load of bull. Would the media want a fail of the nation for a win in their party? This is ridiculous at the highest level! This is a win for us all. Trump was not kim's bit#h like the article is saying. They made it sound like only Trump gave up something. Are they not following? Kim already gave his part he released prisoners and demolished a nuke site. Wow some people. Sorry had to let out this epic rant! I cant believe the ignorance. Don't they know what is at stake?

I like President Trump; and I really thought that he would get the better of Kim Kong Un.But I will have to say that I am a bit disappointed.

True, we did get the remains of servicemen from about 65 years ago. And we also got the cessation of North Korean testing of nuclear weapons.

But there is an old saying: One simply does not reward bad behavior. No exceptions.

To sell out South Korea, as we did--President Trump even described our war games with them as "provocative"--was, in effect, a reward to North Korea for ceasing its bad behavior.

My own preferred carrot-and-stick approach would have been as follows:"By giving up your nuclear weapons, you can begin trading with the US and other developed nations."

By giving up your nukes, you can have your regime's continued existence assured."And by giving up your nukes, you will obviate the possibility--no, the very strong probability--that a missile will soon land in your own living room."

And I would have meant it.

    Every word of it.
