President Trump and Kim Jong Un had a historic private meeting earlier today in Singapore.


And while we don’t know exactly what was said between the two men, we do know that Trump played a video for Kim on his iPad.


The video was created to look like a Hollywood movie trailer and it’s honestly pretty bizarre.
The fake trailer, complete with sweeping music and a dramatic voiceover, imagines a world where Trump and Kim have brought peace.


And it even includes the phrase, “Destiny Pictures presents...” as though it was a real movie trailer.


There is a real “Destiny Pictures” in existence but it has a .biz domain and doesn’t appear to have any relationship with the White House.
The fake movie trailer was also played for reporters shortly before Trump took the stage for a press conference in Singapore earlier today.


Movies are a universal language, but it really is a weird format for diplomacy.



This is probably the first time that a global superpower has made a fake movie trailer to try and convince an adversary to make peace.

The trailer’s so-called production company, Destiny Pictures, appears to be nothing more than a fanciful name invented for verisimilitude; though there is also a real production company with that same name, it had “no involvement” in the video, according to a representative.

I'm not looking for anything. However, if North Korea does follow through with their commitment to denuke, that would be a very good thing. That would be a good thing for America in general.

But Then people like you disapprove of most everything which is good for America.

EVERY source you list lean left, so not surprised by your response to the video.

IMO, I think the video is a brilliant new approach to an old problem: provide a visual for Kim to give him an idea of what his country could become if NK decides to join the rest of the world. Smart move!

The frantic progressive left and the lying liberal press cannot diminish trumps success's to any reasonable americans and that includes some democrats.

What trump has done with North Korea is a Major step towards peace after decades between North and South Korea. Obama totally ignored North Korea and Bush and Clinton and even Reagan were unsucessful with North Korea.

The left can babble and rage on and continue to make stuff up to denigrate trump, just know no one is listening except for those that have the exact same mentality

Trump likely got the video idea from the construction industry. When they want funding for a large project, like a Trump tower, they make these sorts of videos.

The video is not "fake." The MSM are suffering from a massive case of TDS.
