The Clinton voter defectors were focused on globalism, nationalism, deplorables, and Hillary's positions on these issue. I don't think that Comey changed many minds. He only gave boost to those who traditionally would have voted (D), just because, to vote (R). You can't say to the world that 50+ percent of your population are xenophobes, racists, nationalists, unintelligent, etc., and expect to win an election.

I think he helped. His press conferences and Weiner investigation, just a week before the election, helped push some independents who were buying the "Crooked Hillary" meme.

I don't think so. Reasonable voters already knew Hillary was as corrupt as a Las Vegas casino owner.

Comey was only trying to save himself when he realized that Trump might win the election. All of his actions prior to then was the belief that Clinton would win and none of his activities would become public.
