Roller coaster derails in Daytona Beach

In pictures posted to the Daytona Beach Fire Department’s official Twitter account, one car could be seen completely dangling off the track.
The fire department tweeted after 9 p.m. that they were still trying to rescue the two riders in that car.

I like the old roller coasters, the old wooden ones that mainly rely on high hills, speed and fast down hill action. I don't like the newer ones that rely on loops, and tight turns (kills my back).

They just keep making them bigger and faster...and scarier.

I will probably never ride one again. I have no interest in going to an amusement park.

Me either. I went to Disneyland in 1993. I don't need to go again.

I pretty much avoid all crowds/crowded places.

I went to Disney in the late 1970s. I know it is totally different now; but I don't care. I don't like crowds, I don't like lines, and it seems to be grossly over priced for what you get out of it. For a fraction of the cost you can fly to Mexico, travel to Playa del Carmon and go to their outdoor eco-park where you tube, swim, snorkel, jump off cliffs into the river, and see how far you are willing to swim from the river into the Gulf. That was a great day.

If I had a kid I would do it. But kids are not in my future.
