Report from Northern Alabama: We are fine, thanks.

As an aside, I am on my deck. The birds are chirping all around. I can hear a woodpecker looking for breakfast on the hillside above me. It is beautiful, cool, and quite pleasant. My rescue cat is laying ten feet away entirely within a patch of mottled shade.

Call your state legislators and insist they approve the Article V convention of States to propose amendments.

I pledge allegiance to the Constitution as written and understood by this nation's founders, and to the Republic it created, an indivisible union of sovereign States, with liberty and justice for all.

The house we sold in Fort Wayne...We bought it for $46,000 and sold it for $62,000. Two floors, three bedrooms, 1 1/2 baths, and a full 8' tall basement. While the wife was in CA for work (Verizon) she showed the pictures of the house. She was told that house would have sold for 1.5 million there. That fricking insane..........and that was in 2006. I can't imagine what it's "worth" would be today...............

It's directly down from the Community College.

I don't really know what was farther down. I never went there. I was as far out as I had to be to avoid Cleveland.

That's a strange comment for a supposed resident of Philadelphia which has a high rate of violent crime and a high rate of poverty.
