Its hard to criticize Cuba and Venezuela when the US does business with Saudi Arabia.

Certainly the international community should put pressure on human rights violators. The UN is a good venue for that. Again, the UN is far from perfect, but it's better than nothing.
It wasn't the US that made Syria Head of the UN Human Rights Council. Nor did the US just give the Saud a spot on the Humans Rights Council. Nor did we put them in charge of it before Syria.

That's an inconsistency. Your side thinks it's shameful to engage North Korea and even Russia.

I think we are better off with it than without it. And it is convenient for the US to spy of the diplomats .

Hence remaining in as a non-paying member.
Call your state legislators and insist they approve the Article V convention of States to propose amendments.

I pledge allegiance to the Constitution as written and understood by this nation's founders, and to the Republic it created, an indivisible union of sovereign States, with liberty and justice for all.

Syria isn't and hasn't been head of the council. Saudi Arabia has been on the council, but didn't head it.

The primary criticism of the council by many western nations has been its focus on Israel and its perceived biased criticism.

    They do? I don't.

Diplomacy and dialogue should be a priority. The Dems aren't against diplomacy.

Except for a few UN agencies they are a worthless organization at best.I fail to see what interest it serves us to remain in it.

It is perfect. Imagine having all of those diplomats in one place. It used to be one had to go to Vienna to spy on everyone. Now we don't even have to leave home.

No, it isn't better than nothing. It's not hard to criticize Cuba or Venezuela. It's stupid to compare us to them. How you do that amazes me.
