ALERT!!! - SEARCH FOR HOMICIDE SUSPECT - RIMROCK AREA ---
The Sheriff’s Office is assisting DPS and other local agencies in the search for a homicide suspect from an incident in the Prescott area.
The search area is currently in a remote area north/east of Rimrock in the Montezuma Well area.
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 6 feet tall, wearing a black or blue shirt, black shorts and possibly black gloves.
HE IS CONSIDERED ARMED AND DANGEROUS.
FOR RESIDENTS/MOTORISTS IN THIS AREA - PLEASE DO NOT APPROACH SUSPECT.. DO NOT PICK UP HITCH HIKERS!!!! CALL 911 IF YOU SEE THE SUSPECT.

Note – the cadre of Sheriff’s units driving with lights and sirens in local
communities are Special Weapons Teams – They will become part of the search effort. A Code Red, emergency notification, has been issued for the general search area.
