SCOTUS: States can charge sales tax for online shopping

This sucks. When I was doing taxes for 2017 I got a question about online purchases. So I entered a $ figure to fill the space that clearly wasn't zero.

This seems to be a rare time when SCOTUS overturns precedence.

• SCOTUS overturned a 1992 precedent barring states from requiring businesses with no "physical presence" in that state to collect sales taxes.
• The ruling is likely to lead other states to try to collect sales tax on purchases from out-of-state online businesses more aggressively.

Yeah that does suck.....of course the SCOTUS also knows States and Cities ran by Democrats are all failing and going bankrupt. So they got to make it look like they are being helped out.
