Post Video - The Profit, watch these millenials

Mrs. U and I love this show. Well, Mrs. U loves this show and since I don't have the heart to evict her from the den (a.k.a. Dave's room), I love this show. Anyways, this past week's episode was about Ellison Eyewear. The premise of the show is that Marcus Lemonis is a wealthy guy that comes in and invests in struggling businesses on many conditions and has turned around quite a number of companies. He owns camping world and many others. He frequently walks b/c the players are nuts or the business model is insane etc. Anyways, on this episode the CEO of Ellison had these three buddies working with him that in my mind are the quintessential millennials.

The one guy talked about how math is a construct so he doesn't do math but he has empathy (the guy in the stocking cap). I tried to find the clip alone that made me laugh my behind off but I'm posting the entire show. There were so many times that they were told to do certain things that they went off on tangents b/c of their man-bun mindsets.

I think you'll find it entertaining.

Here it is: https://www.cnbc.com/video/2018/06/2...y-numbers.html. It begins with the founder reducing $100K in inventory to $30K when 20% is $20K. Then the math construct guy speaks. Millenial? Postmodern who likely believes math is oppressive.

I like the show too but it's on late so I tend to fall asleep in the middle.

I saw the beginning of this episode. Seems to me the problem with the company was four friends with no clear division of labor.

Perhaps their parents should come run this business for them
