A manager at Vancouver’s Stanley Park Teahouse restaurant has been fired for refusing service to a customer wearing a “Make America Great Again” (MAGA) hat.
The red baseball caps formed an important part of U.S. President Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign, and have become iconic symbols of his supporters.

But let's not lose the point here, this is important. This manager of the restaurant believes that the hat represents....how did this little tulip put it "“racism, bigotry, Islamophobia, misogyny, white supremacy, oh and homophobia.”
Now Dr. Who. one would assume being in such close proximity to the US, your nation enjoys free speech as well. This manager....has every right to believe the fabric of the hat is offensive. Just as for example.....our NFL players who might be offended by certain fabrics in the American Flag thus kneel when it's honored. These NFL Players have free speech and can think and say what they'd like.
But there is an issue. Both this dandelion of a restaurant manager and our rocket scientists like Colin Copericus…..were at WORK. Employed and representing someone else. Copernicus represents the NFL, the 49ers, and Nike. This manager is working for and represents the restaurant. Both of those two.....while at work being paid....to represent someone's else's establishment, do NOT have free speech.....and you will be fired. And you'll note.....these two f'n rocket scientists are unemployed. Like the idiots they are.

BTW kudos to all Trumpers who again show their steel. You'll remember when Sanders was tossed from the Red Hen, she politely left and offered to pay for her meal. This hat wearer calmly explained it was his right to wear the hat(he's not at work, he's eating), the manager showed his ass and refused to serve this man....who left.
Trumpsters. Do the same. They'll throw comments, spit, I've seen balloons filled with urine thrown. Seen that with my own two eyes.
Remain above board. Let them....like this manager...like Colin Copernicus...like those here on this forum who defend such idiotic behavior such as refusing to serve a Trump Supporter or Administration official....show their ass.

No, I mean the most highly liberal left. British Columbia is the California of Canada and on the same geographic coast. You won't find much, if any appreciation for Trump in Vancouver. The restaurant in question has a tolerance policy that does not allow refusal of service over such things as political views or the usual race, religion, sexual orientation etc. Hence when the gentleman with the MAGA hat refused to remove it and was thus refused service, the manager was fired.

This manager may have been fired, however, I'll bet you lunch his phone starts ringing. They move in herds you see.
