Yeah, that's what I was talking about, the story is eight years old; why are you posting it like it happened yesterday?

I know that, its a woman now and she makes even more.
Instead of dancing and prancing just admit its horrific and thats why they needed accountability and not force people to pay those horrific salaries if they dont want too.

You know I never could understand why unions are necessary for government jobs since it gives one the impression that you cannot trust the government to pay you fairly while that same government is enforcing minimum wages. Government jobs should be an example of paying the wages they deserve and the benefits that are promised to them.

Oh. you think his replacement makes less? Last year it was $421,000 is salary and 100,000 in deferred compensation. Any union leader making that much is a thief.

You are correct except they don't have to join, but still have to pay a fee equal to the dues and fees or register as an agency fee payer in which case they are entitled to a rebate on their dues/fees.

    I would agree with that.

Unions no longer exist with the intent to benefit the membership. They ignore the desires of the membership.

No, I mean there are private industry where you are required to join the union. You're talking about right to work states. I should have called them closed shops. Agency shops do mean something different.

    UNBELIEVABLE

Christie's war with the union escalated earlier this summer when a union official suggested praying for the governor's death. Last week, Christie lambasted a teacher at a public forum.

I believe big time CEO's in general are over paid and that each organization of that size likely has a dozen people that could effect results just as good. Yet since we are in the inner circle of the super rich the market does not correct. In this case the teachers should take a stand. BTW, do the CEO's get to work only 180 days a year ?
