You are living in the past where acquired skills are valued. Not anymore. This is a different world, you generally need post-secondary education just to work in the mailroom of a corporate employer or to work as a receptionist, since they don't expect or want anyone to be a lifelong mailroom clerk or receptionist. Printing is a dying industry which will eventually disappear. Its replacement requires people with IT skills and application knowledge. Who delivers newspapers anymore? We are in the 21st century and everything is different. You are living in a suburban or rural bubble in time. It's all about creative destruction these days. If you don't innovate, you are redundant.
Construction workers are highly skilled and paid accordingly. So are plumbers, electricians, carpenters salesmen and many more. You seem to have an elitist attitude about people who do well with no college degree.

You act as if using a computer is some great skill. it isn't. A code writer or app writer is a big deal.A computer expert to fix a program at a hospital is. Everyone else is not.

I have my paper delivered. All papers deliver.

Up to this I thought you were wrong but okay. You now are talking like the elitist that Clinton appealed to.

    Almost no one innovates.
Call your state legislators and insist they approve the Article V convention of States to propose amendments.

I'm talking about no minimum wage.

If I wanted to I could go downtown under the bridge and hire people at five dollars an hour. I would have no trouble getting the people I need. Tell them that they should refuse that. Tell them that no dollars is better than five dollars.
